Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Professional Swimwear (“we”, “us”) collects through proswimwear.com.au, why, and the choices you have. We are an Australian site and aim to handle information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

  • Messages you send us: your name, email address and whatever you write, when you contact us.
  • Usage data: pages viewed, the page you came from, device and browser type, and approximate location (city level), collected through analytics tools and server logs.
  • Link clicks: when you click a link to a retailer, we record which offer was clicked. We do not record who you are.
  • Cookies: small files used for basic site operation and analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

We do not sell products, so we do not take payments and we do not hold card details.

How we use it

  • To reply to your messages and fix errors you report.
  • To understand which pages are useful and improve the site.
  • To keep the site secure and working.

Retailer sites and affiliate links

When you follow a link to a retailer, you leave our site. The retailer, and the tracking systems used to credit us for a referral, handle your information under their own policies. We do not control them. See How we make money for how affiliate links work.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to host the site, measure traffic and deliver email. They may process information on our behalf. We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect information we hold. Some service providers store data outside Australia.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to us through the contact page. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
